Arundo Donax

Arundo Donax commonly known as the Giant Reed or Giant Cane.
A very tall hardy perennial cane that is a luxurious ornamental grass forming stout stems of arching, green bamboo-like foliage. 
Arundo Donax produces panicles of green to purple spikelets. Max Height 4m to 5m. Max Spread 1.4m.
The Giant Cane flowers between September to October.
Prefers to be planted in full sun.
Water thoroughly before planting.
