Betula Utilis Multi Stemmed

Betula Utilis Multi Stemmed - more commonly known as the Himalayan Birch is a multi stemmed Silver Birch tree.
 A wonderful tree and one of the most popular at Paramount, prized for its graceful habit and unusual bark. 
The Himalayan Birch has a conical shape, it is a deciduous tree with attractive peeling copper-brown or pinkish bark - it's delicate dark green leaves turn a Tuscan yellow in Autumn and it produces lovely yellow and brown catkins in the Spring.
The multi stemmed Birch tree is fast growing and works well when planted in a row for screening or on the edge of a glade, it achieves a maximum height of 18 metres with a maxiumum spread of 10 metres. It is a hardy tree that thrives in full sun or partial shade and loves a moist soil.
