The Cristate Broad Buckler Fern has the latin name of Dryopteris Dilata Crispa Whiteside
The Broad Buckler Fern is highly decorative with neatly crisped, golden green, wavy fronds and is semi-deciduous. This is a native fern to Britain and as a semi-evergreen fern it can reach almost two feet in height, it has been awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit, for its excellent performance.
The Cristste Broad Buckler Fern is a hardy fern and prefers a shady area with slightly acidic soil that is well drained. It is however, very adaptable.
