Nothofagus Antarctica - Antarctic Beech
Nothofagus Antarctica - the antarctic beech. This tree or shrub is deciduous and is native to Southern Chile and Argentina. Sunny or partial shade position it does not have a significant flower. The leaves are oval and glossy with crinkled edges. Leaves turn yellow/orange in autumn.
Max height 10m it is upright in habit and has a slender scaly bark.
