Yucca Thompsoniana, which closely resembles Yucca rostrata, almost always branches off and remains smaller than rostrata. The leaves are slightly less blue, more rigid and shorter.
Yucca Thompsoniana is a hardy Yucca which withstands lower temperatures (-20°C) and is better moisture resistant than Yucca rostrata. This species is found in western Texas and North Eastern Mexico. This species is very hard to get and rare in cultivation.
