Yew Hedge

 Yew or Taxus Baccata makes a neat trimmed hedge.   A coniferous bushy plant which grows well in most soil conditions.  

Taxus is very popular now together with buxus as a formal, contemporary, neat hedge.  Also known as taxus bacatta.

It is dense and dark green and stays evergreen throughout the winter months.  It is popular with birds for its berries.  Slow growing so minimal maintenance required.
