As its bright red new foliage emerges in spring and mingles with the clean, crisp dark green of the older leaves, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paramountplants.co.uk\/plant\/phot\/photinia-red-robin-shrub.html\">Photinia Red Robin<\/a> can create a startling colour \/ contrast effect in the garden when planted as a companion to plants with contrasting texture, colour and \/or foliage.<\/p>\n<p>Examples that are sure to catch the eye include planting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paramountplants.co.uk\/plant\/phot\/photinia-red-robin-shrub.html\">Photinia Red Robin<\/a>\u00a0with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paramountplants.co.uk\/conifers.html\">conifers<\/a>, which will have a completely different texture of foliage and usually a contrasting colour.
