Acer Palmatum Pink Passion
Is a striking new introduction, very similar to Acer Palmatum Shirazz it has amazing colouration, its variegated pink foliage is tinged with cream, maroon and green colouring. In Spring the leaves emerge as a bright pink/purple colour tinged with light pink variegation, as the season develops the leaves deepen to dark purple with cream coloured variegation and by autumn the tree is a blaze of the deepest red. This is a stunning specimen tree which will add the WOW factor to any garden design.

As with all strongly coloured Acers, Pink Passion is best planted in a bright, semi shaded spot to achieve the best colouration. It is hardy and will establish itself quite quickly and should reach approx 2-3 metres tall. 

All acers prefer well draining humus rich soil. If growing in a pot use John Innes type compost and protect from strong high summer sun.
