This is a close up image of the cluster of flower buds of Prunus Serrulata Royal Burgundy. These beautiful pale pink flowers appear in Springtime in the UK, usually during April and May (depending on the severity of the winter season). A welcome sight in the garden, the flowers are a magnet for pollinators. The flowers give way to sumptuous burgundy foliage which lasts throughout the summer months, only changing orange in the Autumn.
