Dicksonia Fibrosa is a New Zealand Tree Fern also known as Wheki Ponga. Smaller in size to Dicksonia Antarctica this is a slow growing tree fern that is one of the most hardy of the the New Zealand tree ferns - in it's natural habitat it grows in altitudes of up to 400 metres above sea level.
Commonly known as the Jade Tree Fern or Woolly Tree Fern it is very suitable for smaller gardens and spaces, although hardy, it does need the crown to be protected by fleece or straw during extreme winter weather.
