Ligustrum Topiary Half Standard Trees

Topiary Half Standard Ligustrum Ovafolium is more commonly known as the Japanese Privet, it is an evergreen shrub and has dark green small glossy leaves. 
One of the first choices for Topiary because it is so easy to trim into interesting shapes and is easy to maintain. The lollipop shape privet tree is one of our most popular topiary designs.  It is relatively slow growing apart from a growth spurt around July so it only needs a trim once or twice a year to keep it in shape.
Ligustrum as topiary is very popular in Italianate formal gardens, it produces a profusion of small white flowers with an unusual scent in the late summer.
