Taxus is a genus of Yew and is an excellent topiary shrub, producing evergreen dense leaves that are slow growing, means these plants are very easy to maintain - with just a couple of clippings per year to keep them in shape. 
This Taxus Pom Pom is a popular topiary design the shrub is trimmed into ball shapes at the end of the branches.
