Canary Island Date Palm - latin name Phoenix Caneriensis is native to the Iberian Peninsula.
An impressive hardy foliage palm with a stout trunk that develops into a pineapple shape with deep green, arching leaves. 
Sometimes referred to as the Phoenix Palm these trees are excellent structural palms and give architectural and exotic styling to your garden design.  
Max Height 4m. Max Spread 2m.
Flowers May to June. Fruits appear in  August.
