Buxus Sempervirens also known as Common Box or Boxwood, is the perfect choice for topiary and clipped hedging - most often used for topiary shapes and the low clipped hedges of 'Elizabethan knot' gardens.
Box is hardy, easily grown and thrives in full sun or partial shade but it's slow growth and small densely packed leaves make it the premiere choice for topiary.
Buxus can be formed into many shapes, animal shapes, cones, pyramids, spirals, globes and balls and lollipops - it's very easy to maintain the shapes as it is so slow growing - an occasional trim is all that is required.
We have a huge selection of box topiary at Paramount of different sizes and shapes - visit the nursery to view our collection or take a look through our website at the variety on offer.
