How To Care For Lagerstroemia Pure White
Crape Myrtle Pure White needs a sunny spot. Crape Myrtles need all the sun you can give them due to their tropical native environment. Alongside full sun they need shelter from cold drying winds and you must avoid frost pockets. If you can give crape myrtle these conditions it will thrive.
It will grow in the majority of well-drained soils including chalk and sand and pruning isn’t required. It used to be thought that crape myrtle only flowered on new growth, but this isn’t the case and such excessive pruning can shock the plant.
Trim back its tips if necessary and boost it with a thick layer of organic mulch in spring for a healthy flower display.
