Abies Koreana is commonly known as The Korean Fir
Abies Koreana is a really attractive fir tree originating from high elevations in the mountain ranges of South Korea. It has soft rounded green needles with a lovely silver underside and famously blue upright cones. Unusually, these cones are produced at a very young age. Firs normally produce cones when they are much more mature to produce the stunning cones that only true firs(abies) produce.
Abies Koreana has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit - a sure sign it will perform well in most gardens.
