Low Growing Plants
For Ground Cover, Underplanting and Low Hedges
These plants are often requested by our customers either for underplanting around the base of taller plants or for planting a small hedge. Low growing shrubs are very often used now to create a border to frame a large architectural tree – a popular low growing shrub is a pittosporum tobira nana which even at 15 years of age only reaches up to 80cm in height. Other low growing plants which would work well on their own include the Viburnum Plicatum Mariesii and the Buxus Globes.
