Carex Foliosissima Irish Green, commonly known as Morrow's Sedge or Japanese Sedge, is a low-maintenance evergreen ornamental grass prized for its lush green foliage and dense, carpet-forming habit. Care Tips

Carex Foliosissima Irish Green requires very little maintenance once established. Plant into well-prepared soil and water regularly during the first growing season to encourage a strong root system. Thereafter, maintain adequate moisture during prolonged dry periods, particularly for plants grown in full sun or containers.

Because this is an evergreen Carex, there is no need to cut the entire plant down annually as you would with many deciduous ornamental grasses. Instead, remove individual dead or damaged leaves to keep the clump looking fresh. Established plants can be divided between mid-spring and early summer if required.
