This is a lovely evergreen conifer with green to golden-yellow foliage. Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Alumigold (common name Lawson's Cypress Alumigold or False Cypress Alumigold ) is easy to maintain, relatively slow growing will grow in most soil conditions but will not tolerate being waterlogged.

These compact elegantly shaped Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Alumigold are perfect for use as statement hedging plants or ideal when used as a specimen shrub. These specimens are standing at 1-1.25 metres tall (excluding the pot) with a slim upright columnar shape, these will eventually (slowly) grow up to 6 metres high. Perfect as a garden focal point, to frame an entrance, to punctuate a seating area….there are endless possibilities!

Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Alumigold shrubs have the added advantage of being easy to trim and it is not difficult to maintain these in shape. For best results, trim twice a year.
