Pileostegia Viburnoides, commonly known as Climbing Hydrangea and synonymous with Hydrangea Viburnoides, is an unusual and striking evergreen climber that deserves a place in any garden. Unlike a lot of climbers, it is self-clinging, making it easy to establish on walls, fences, or tree trunks without the need for additional support. Its dark green, leathery foliage provides year-round interest, and in late summer it bursts into dense panicles of small, star-shaped creamy white flowers, which are highly attractive to pollinators.
