Thuja Occidentalis Danica
This beautiful dwarf conifer, Thuja Occidentalis Danica (or White cedar Danica) has vibrant emerald green foliage during the summer months. The leaves are arranged so that this plant naturally forms a lovely globe shape.

An occasional trim will keep Thuja Occidentalis Danica  even neater and well shaped and it can be trimmed to a perfectly rotund globe if required. This little dwarf conifer is a fabulous specimen plant that will happily grow in containers or can be used as an accent plant in the border or for sculptural interest in the rock garden.

Conifers such as this are extremely useful rockery plants as they are evergreen and low growing and provide great interest throughout the year. Thuja Occidentalis Danica will grow in most well drained, moist soils and just needs an occasional mulch.

White cedar Danica will reach a height and width of circa half a metre over a 10 year period. It holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
