Yew Tree Topiary in Half Standard Lollipop Shape (on a clear stem with a rounded ball-shaped crown). The Latin name for Yew is Taxus Baccata. Our native evergreen yew is well suited to topiary and is perfectly happy to be clipped and shaped either as cones or pyramids, Yew spirals, lollipops or other forms of topiary. Here they are shaped as half standard lollipop trees. Yew is fairly slow growing and very hardy and a trim twice a year will easily keep them in good shape. These elegant trees suit either side of an entrance door or on a patio or roof terrace. Growing Tip: Keep well-watered during the growing months (March - September).
