This Ceanothus climber originated on the West Coast of the United States, so it is an ideal evergreen screen for windy coastal areas but it also grows well inland. Once established, Ceanothus Yankee Point is relatively drought-tolerant. The flowers are scented. Ceanothus Yankee Point prefers full sun but will also grow in shade. It benefits from shelter against harsh winds. It is fast growing.
