Camellia Japonica are extremely versatile plants.Thanks to its balanced shape, Camellia Japonica Kirin No Homare makes a stunning garden focal point. It also works very well in ornamental mixed borders. This plant is great for containers and is often seen gracing balconies and terraces.

More unusually, Camellia Japonica Kirin No Homare planted in a row and regularly trimmed, will provide good evergreen, attractive screening.

Camellias prefer acidic, moist, free-draining soil and like to be situated in partial shade. Plants in containers should be feed with ericaceous slow release fertilizer.
