Camellia Japonica Compacta Alba

This outstanding large, slow growing and quite rare Camellia variety has been propagated in England. Camellia Japonica Compacta Alba has a great appearance and wonderful spring flower display with pure white semi double flowers. Add its attractive evergreen foliage and the fact that it reacts well to pruning, it’s no surprise then that Camellias are one of the garden designer’s favourite choices.

Camellia Japonica Compacta Alba has a beautiful, delicate crystal white flower in early spring and striking deep green leaves all year round. It is a perfect plant for mixed borders or for containers. It can be used as a highly ornamental hedge or evergreen screening when planted in a row not too far apart.

Camellias prefer acidic, moist, well-draining soil. If you want to maintain its shape, simply prune it once a year, after the flowering period.
