Camellia Japonica Snowball
Camellia Japonica Snowball is an evergreen flowering shrub and a stunning addition to our Camellia collection, producing beautiful white double flowers. The central structure of the bloom is very Peony-shaped with surrounding silky white petals. The glossy green foliage lasts all year round. Camellia Japonica Snowball is a real show stopping variety of Camellia producing a fantastic display of flowers in early Spring.
Growing tip: Prefers acidic soil but if you don't have this in your garden Camellia Japonica Snowball will grow well in containers using Ericaceous soil. If you do plant directly into the soil - dig a larger hole and surround with acidic soil - a regular feed of Camellia plant food will be very beneficial. Read more about Caring for Camellias which also has more information about soil type.
These Camellia Japonica Snow Ball plants are available as a three-quarter standard tree shape, which is quite rare for camellias. It is also available as a bushy form for planting as a shrub and or if you are considering a dazzling camellia hedge.
White Camellias are trending right now - as part of an understated, colour specific, garden design. Going for the White Garden look? This variety is a must!
