The dark green leaves have a contrasting vibrant yellow or cream variegation making this a most attractive plant, that is extremely easy to grow. It is relatively slow growing and prefers full sun or partial shade.
Euonymous Japonicus Bravo is a really useful plant as it will thrive in situations that are more difficult for other shrubs. It will tolerate salt and therefore is often used in coastal areas in borders or for hedging. The Japanese Spindle Bush is a multi-stemmed shrub and is frequently chosen for evergreen hedging and can be very attractive in multi tiered hedging designs contrasting with the darker green of most hedging plants.
