This deciduous Magnolia is a medium to large tree with a magnificent show of blooms in late winter to early spring. The beautiful white goblet shaped flowers are tinged with pale pink at the base.
Fully hardy Magnolia x Soulangeana 'Alba Superba' does best in full sun or partial shade and should be sheltered from westerly winds, As with most Magnolias - minimal pruning is the order of the day, just remove any crossed or broken branches soon after the flowering period - to give plenty of time for the next years buds to develop.
Magnolia Alba Superba is an excellent choice for small or town gardens - this is a statement tree!
