Pinus Sylvestris - Pine Cloud Tree Pom Pom
Pinus Sylvestris is commonly called the Scots Pine and it is one of the most popular varieties of Pine trees in Europe. As a large evergreen conifer, Pinus Sylvestris has significant ornamental value with its beautiful grey-green needles and an outstanding orange flaky bark on young specimens, which turns grey when mature.

However, these particular specimens which are shaped as Japanese Cloud Trees are rare indeed, not least as they are available to buy in more mature sizes. These are truly sensational looking pine cloud trees. They have a definite air of the exotic about them and will look stunning in any position in any garden, whether grown in the ground or planted in containers.
You will find these pine cloud trees are surprisingly easy to maintain. They just need to be trimmed once per year with a well sharpened secateurs.
