Syringa Vulgaris Madame Antoine Buchner

Syringa Vulgaris Madame Antoine Buchner is one of the top pale pink varieties of Common Lilac. It produces large panicles of very fragrant double pale pink flowers, making this a superb specimen Lilac. The flowers are ideal for decorative purposes such as cut flowers. Syringa Vulgaris Madame Antoine Buchner is very easy to grow. If planted in a sunny position, it will reward you with more and more flowers every year.

Syringa Antoine Buchner is not fussy of the soil type and will eventually grow into a large deciduous shrub of around 3-4 metres tall.

Lilacs generally are very wildlife-friendly plants attracting bees and butterflies into the garden. They also make good accent plants and can create a stunning effect when planted in groups.

For the best results, Lilacs should be de-headed and shaped if necessary after flowering has occurred.
