Tsuga Canadensis Jeddeloh
An evergreen slow growing dwarf compact conifer which is from the Pinacaea family and forms a bushy, rounded shrub. Tsuga Canadensis Jeddeloh is also known as Eastern Hemlock Jeddeloh or Dwarf Hemlock and has a conical growth, with arching branches and slighty drooping leaves, when the leaves first appear they are a most attractive light green, as they mature they gradually turn a much darker green with small oval shaped cones appearing on the branches.

This beautiful specimen is very easy to grow and is very low maintenance and looks spectacular in the border or planted in a rock garden setting.

Tsuga Canadensis Jeddeloh prefers a slightly acidic soil but it will cope well in any well drained fertile soils, give a good mulch to help retain moisture. It does need to be sited away from cold drying winds but most usefully this Conifer will thrive in partial shade or full shade.

Maximum height 1-1.5m Maximum spread 1-1.5m
