A Japanese native, Azalea Japoncia Hot Shot has beautiful variegated leaves and strikingly bright red flowers that appear in late Spring. This is a bushy azalea with a rounded shape which prefers acidic, well drained soil. Be sure to give it good mulch after planting. It will be perfectly happy in a pot as well as planting directly in the ground.
Azalea Japonica Hot Shot is a prolific bloomer, which displays reddish-orange, single flowers with emerge from upright buds. It is very floriferous and blooms from mid to late spring.
