Azalea Japonica Hot Shot

A Japanese native, Azalea Japoncia Hot Shot has beautiful variegated leaves and strikingly bright red flowers that appear in late Spring. This is a bushy azalea with a rounded shape which prefers acidic, well drained soil. Be sure to give it good mulch after planting. It will be perfectly happy in a pot as well as planting directly in the ground.

Azalea Japonica Hot Shot is a prolific bloomer, which displays reddish-orange, single flowers with emerge from upright buds. It is very floriferous and blooms from mid to late spring. Hot Shot has variegated leave foliage. The small, dark green and elliptic leaves have distinct white margins. When in flower, the foliage provides a striking backdrop to the vibrant red blooms.
