A beautiful bushy shrub Camellia Japonica 'Elegans' has dark green glossy evergreen leaves and produces fabulous double flowers 10cm across in early spring. Also known as Camellia Japonica 'Chandleri Elegans' - this is a very vigorous variety, with strong flowers, easy to grow in well drained neutral/acid soil.
Loves to be in the shade in a sheltered north or westerly aspect.
