Potentilla Fruticose Goldfinger commonly known as Shrubby Cinquefoil Goldfinger is from the Rosaceae family of plants. A hardy, deciduous shrub with beautiful golden buttery coloured flowers, almost like huge buttercups, appearing in mid summer and lasting right through to Autumn. The smallish delicate, pinate leaves are also an attractive feature and this bushy plant is very at home in the border, as an accent plant, or en masse for impact.

Whilst it's not fussy about the aspect Potentilla Goldfinger really prefers a nice moist soil to thrive and if you cultivate in partial shade the beautiful flowers will last a lot longer than when it is planted in full sun.
Potentilla Fruticose Goldfinger will reach a height and spread of about 1.5 metres and is a great choice for urban courtyard gardens or in the dappled shade beneath trees or on a sloping bank. Once established it is very easy to maintain with just an occasional prune to keep it in shape.
Shrubby Cinquefoil Goldfinger is a really useful and highly ornamental shrub that performs well and flowers profusely.
