Wisteria Prolific or Chinese Wisteria Lilac-Blue
Wisteria Prolific is a beautiful and vigorous twining deciduous climber with bright green foliage that emerges bronze in spring. It has pendent clusters of fragrant, lilac-blue pea-like flowers in late spring and early summer.
This variety of Wisteria prefers full sun or partial shade. Also available as a pure white variety Wisteria Sinensis Alba.
Wisterias look stunning when trained over an arbour or pergola or over the front entrance. Prolific flowers appear from May to June and can produce a reduced second flowering in late summer.
