Acer Palmatum Shirasawanum Aureum - known as the Golden Full Moon or Golden Leaf Maple or the Golden Shirasawa Maple. This Japanese Acer has bright lime green foliage which changes to brilliant oranges and reds in autumn, these slow growing medium sized trees are perfect for the town garden or for a Japanese style garden design.

'Aureum' has small bright red flowers hanging from the branches and the yellow leaves make a stunning display when they change colour in Autumn. The Golden Shirasawa Maple is deciduous and not surprisingly - as it's such a performer - it has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

How to grow:

Full sun or partial shade in most well drained soils, very hardy in winter but place in a sheltered spot. This tree is very easy to maintain.
