Syringa Vulgaris Madame Lemoine (Lilac Tree)

Lilac Cultivar Syringa Vulgaris Madame Lemoine is a member of the Common Lilac family. It’s a small, ornamental flowering tree that will reach a maximum height of around 2 metres.

Syringa Vulgaris Madame Lemoine produces creamy yellow flower buds opening to reveal double white fragrant trusses of flowers that will delight you year after year. These showy scented blooms make this lilac a real stunner and well worth a place in your garden or patio.

Lilac Trees are generally small to medium-sized deciduous trees (or shrubs) growing no larger than 2 metres high, sought after for their fragrant and showy flowers. Because they don't get overly big, Lilac trees are ideal for smaller gardens or where space is limited.

Lilacs are fussy about the type of soil you plant them in. They like neutral to alkaline soil (ideally a ph of around 7). Syringa Vulgaris Madame Lemoine requires full sun so make good use of a southerly or south-westerly aspect. Lilacs should be dead-headed after flowering to ensure a rich bounty of blooms for the following year.

The flowers of this yellow flowering Lilac Tree are just perfect for picking and bring indoors. A bouquet of fresh blooms from your garden will fill your house with the heady smell of lilac.
