Cedrus Deodara Feelin' Blue Deodar Cedar 
Cedrus Deodara Feelin' Blue is a low-growing evergreen dwarf cedar excellent for ground cover or filling gaps. Cedrus is native to the mountains of East Asia but the cultivar Deodar Feelin’ Blue was bred in the Netherlands and selected for its almost prostrate form. This is a particularly attractive mat-forming cedar with an unusual low growing habit. Its blue-green foliage is bright throughout the year and in autumn ovoid cones appear which break up as its seeds are released. The soft needle-like leaves on arching branches making it suitable for households with children and pets.

Deodara Feelin' Blue is one of the lowest Deodar Cedars and will only reach a height of 0.1-0.5 metres and spread over 1.5-2.5 metres over 10-20 years. 
This is a slow conifer that won’t outgrow it’s welcome or need pruning.

Use this to fill gaps, nooks and crannies in your cottage garden border or wildlife garden where it provides cover from sheltering insects. Feelin’ Blue grows well in containers and it’s textured foliage suits rock gardens, Japanese gardens, or spaces that require low maintenance colour. 
This is a low growing versatile shrub that is rightly popular in UK gardens. 

How To Care For Cedrus Deodara Feelin' Blue
Once established a Deodara Cedar needs very little attention. Plant yours in full sun or partial shade and water well until it is established. 
Feelin’ Blue does not require any pruning and will grow in the majority of soil types so long as it is well-drained. 
A thick layer of mulch around the base each year traps moisture, cuts out weeds, and provides nutrients that help it retain a bright blue colour and gracefully arching branches.
